One of the most popular family attractions on Fuerteventura, La Lajita Zoo appeals to all ages. The main theme park on the island, Fuerteventura La Lajita Zoo, often known simply as Oasis Park, is a popular safari park, containing many zoo favourites. Located on the eastern side of the island, in the charming fishing village of La Lajita, the zoo is often known as the Camel Oasis (Oasis de Los Camellos), as it contains the largest camel reserve in the whole of Europe. Regular camel rides are available, with other zoo attractions including monkeys, giraffes, zebras, hippos, sea lions, crocodiles, birds of prey and parrot shows. Fuerteventura La Lajita Zoo also features superb landscaped botanical gardens, a playground for children, a petting zoo area, three restaurants, bars, and a gift shop, full of animal-related souvenirs.

Fuerteventura Theme Parks: Baku Water Park - Corralejo, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands, Spain
A relatively new addition to the attraction scene in Fuerteventura, opening in 2004, Baku Water Park can be found in the southern Corralejo area and is the island's only water park. Popular with families and visitors staying in Fuerteventura, the Baku Water Park is a large complex and offers a range of attractions, which include a lazy river, an exciting wave pool, tenpin bowling, miniature golf, a driving range, landscaped gardens, sun beds, restaurants and a range of gift shops.
