Some of the most popular places to stay in Fuerteventura are never far from seemingly endless stretches of sandy beaches and coastlines. Jandia is known for featuring some of the best beaches in southern Fuerteventura, with more than 20 km / 13 miles of coastline and a good selection many beachfront hotels.

Other popular coastal resorts in Fuerteventura include Corralejo - a lively northern resort, particularly popular with English tourists, featuring a range of large hotel complexes offering easy access to the many beaches; Nuevo Horizonte - a notable holiday resort on the eastern side of Fuerteventura, with a number of recently developed condos and hotel complexes; and Gran Taraja - one of the largest towns on Fuerteventura, with many hotels close to the harbour and a beach promenade.

Other popular resorts in Fuerteventura include Puerto del Rosario - Fuerteventura's vibrant capital, home to a wealth of waterfront hotels, modern apartments and tourist attractions, all of which are often close to the harbour and beaches. Betancuria, once Fuerteventura's capital, is also home to a large concentration of hotels and apartment rentals, particularly around the town centre and valley.
